Clear — Privacy Policy

Clear is built to be private by design. The app runs entirely on your device. Everything you enter — your subscriptions, amounts, dates, and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone and is never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers. We don't have servers that hold your data.

No account, no personal data

Clear has no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any personal information to use the app. We never ask for, and never access, your bank, card, or financial account credentials — you add subscriptions manually.

What leaves your device

Clear does not collect analytics about how you use the app, and contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. The only time information leaves your device is when you make the one-time Pro purchase. That purchase is processed by Apple's In-App Purchase system, and validated through RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. To do this, RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and an anonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier. This identifier is not linked to your name or identity, and is used only to confirm and restore your purchase. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you enable renewal reminders, those notifications are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No reminder data is sent to us or to any third party.

Children

Clear is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. Since the app collects no personal data at all, this is by design.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in full control. Deleting the app removes all of the data it stored. There is nothing held on our side to request deletion of.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
