Clear — Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Clear app (“Clear”, “the app”). By downloading or using Clear, you agree to them. Clear is provided by Ryoma Taguchi (“we”, “us”).
What Clear does
Clear is a tool for tracking subscriptions and recurring costs that you enter manually. It helps you see your spending and upcoming renewals. Clear is an organizational tool only — it is not financial, accounting, or investment advice, and it does not connect to your bank or make payments on your behalf.
Your data
Your data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your own device backed up. Because we do not store your data, we cannot recover it if it is lost or if you delete the app. See our Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Clear offers a one-time “Pro” purchase (not a recurring subscription) that unlocks additional features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies.
Acceptable use
Please use Clear only for its intended purpose and do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app in ways that harm others or violate the law.
No warranty
Clear is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep its calculations accurate, but we do not guarantee the app is error-free or that it will meet every need. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app. Always verify important amounts and dates against your own records.
Changes
We may update these terms; the latest version will always be on this page, with the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current terms.
